We provide prompt delivery by shipping most orders within 2 business days.

Our shipping and handling are actual costs plus $1.00 for US orders with a minimum charge of $5.80. The minimum charge for UPS or Priority Mail is based on a 1 pound package. If your shipping weight is less than 1 pound, you will probably find that you can add several more items without increasing the shipping cost. The estimated weight in the shopping cart is updated as each item is added.
UPS guarantees the day of delivery for every ground package shipped to any address within the 48 contiguous states. Below is a United States map showing the time in transit for UPS Ground Delivery.
UPS provides tracking for all packages and UPS will email you the tracking number and the guaranteed delivery date. The Post Office does not offer tracking for Priority Mail. The Post Office estimates, but does not guarantee, 2 to 3 days for Priority Mail delivery.
UPS Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, or 3 Day Select may provide quicker delivery to your location and are available for an additional charge, based on the package weight and designation. Please note that the UPS guarantee is based on the date of the order shipment. All air shipments will be processed the day we receive your order and shipped the next business day if received before 2:00 PM Central Time. We will attempt to ship the same day for orders of only a few items if received before noon Central Time. To ensure timely processing of an order for air shipment, please also give us a call for shopping cart or faxed orders.
For UPS shipping, the shopping cart estimate is based on delivery to a residential address. UPS defines a residential delivery as delivery to a location that is a home, including a business operating out of a home that does not have an entrance open to the public. If the delivery location could be construed as either residential or commercial, then the rates for residential delivery service are applied. UPS charges less for a commercial address. If appropriate, please indicate that your delivery address is a commercial address in the Special Instruction/comments block when you are checking out.

5) If you have placed a charge card order with us before, you can and identify the charge card by including its last 4 digits and expiration date. Please include your name, address and daytime phone number in the email.

Small Order Surcharge
We have a $5.00 minimum for merchandise orders. There is a $1.00 small order surcharge for orders under $10.00.

Item Minimums
For most fabrics, the minimum order is one yard. For laces and elastics, the minimum order is from 1 to 5 yards. The drop down menus start at the minimum number of yards for each item. If you change the quantity in the shopping cart to less than the minimum, your order will be delayed until we have contacted you to find out if you want to increase the quantity to the minimum or delete the item from your order.

If you are not familiar with a particular fabric or need a particular tone of a color, we suggest that you order fabric samples before ordering the fabric. We strive very hard to send you the finest fabrics and products available.
If you wish to order only fabric swatches/samples, our Fabric Samples page provides ordering instructions and a listing of all fabric samples. For orders with only fabric samples, shipping is free for US orders. For international orders (Charge card only), we will send First Class International and the Shipping and Handling Charge will be the actual postage. There is a $1.00 small order surcharge for orders under $10.00 for both US and international orders. No phone orders for only fabric samples.
For orders containing merchandise and fabric samples, our regular Shipping & Handling Charges applies.

*The Post Office also provides a guaranteed delivery date for Express Mail International to Australia, China, Hong Kong, Japan, and Korea, Republic of (South Korea).
We recommend Prioirity Mail International or Express Mail International for most orders. First Class International can be used for packages up to 4 pounds. Since First Class International can not be insured, we ship First Class International for orders over $20 only if the customer agrees to be responsble for any loss or damage to the package. You may indicate your acceptance of this condition in the Special Instruction/comments block when you are checking out. First Class International is usually less expensive. You can use the estimated weight from the shopping cart and visit the International Rate Calculator at the US Post Office web site to estimate your postage costs for the different shipping methods.
We recommend using UPS Worldwide Express™, UPS Worldwide Express Saver™ or UPS Worldwide Expedited™ for larger value orders to provide guaranted delivery and tracking of the shipment. You can use the estimated weight from the shopping cart and visit the UPS Time and Rate Calculator to estimate shipping costs and schedules.
UPS offers free routine customs clearance of UPS Worldwide Express™, UPS Worldwide Express Saver™ and UPS Worldwide Expedited™. Customs clearance charges are not included for UPS Ground into Canada. The UPS Canada website provides information on customs clearance charges for UPS Customs Brokerage. If you do not want to use UPS Customs Brokerage, you can call UPS Canada at 800-742-5877 after you have received your tracking number and provide them the information on the Customs Brokerage you wish to use.
We charge actual shipping cost plus a $2 Handling charge with a minimum S&H charge of $5.80. The shopping cart estimated shipping cost includes only a $1 Handling charge, so your actual charge may be slightly more.
We will email you the total charge, the date your package was shipped and tracking number if applicable. If we are temporarily out of stock of an item and have your email address, we will email you with the expected shipment date of the complete order. You will have the option of having only the in stock merchandise shipped or waiting for the complete order. No back orders.

Even though we check and double check the prices in the shopping cart, an occasional error can occur. If the shopping cart should have too high a price for an item, we will charge the correct lower price when we prepare the invoice. If the shopping cart should have too low a price for an item, we will contact you before completing your order. Please email our if you notice pricing errors or any website errors such as broken links.

We respect your right to privacy and we do not share email addresses, mail addresses, or any customer information with anyone. We do place your order information in our files to more easily process future orders.

Special orders
50% Deposit. Shipping & Handling will be actual shipping cost plus a $1 Handling charge. Shipping cost will depend on the weight and destination. No returns on special orders.

If for some reason, you are not satisfied with any part of your purchase, you may return it (except for special order fabrics, fabric samples, sale items, close out sale items, and a few products that state no returns in their description ) for an exchange, refund or credit with a RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER. RETURNS REQUIRE PRIOR AUTHORIZATION.You must call within 3 weeks of your invoice date and receive a Return Authorization Number to be written on the outside of your package. Returns will not be accepted without a Return Authorization Number.
Returns due to no fault of Sew Sassy Fabrics are subject to a 20% restocking fee and are accepted only if the merchandise is in saleable condition. In this case shipping charges are not refunded and customer is responsible for return shipping.

Returned checks are subject to a handling charge of $25.00.
