Gripper Elastic
This hard to find elastic was originally developed for use in girdles as a leg elastic. Today. it plays a role in active sportswear. Activewear enthusiasts will recognize it as the elastic used in the hems of bike shorts, running tights, and leotards to keep the legs from riding up. It is also excellent for use as waistband elastic as it keeps shirts tucked in even when the playing gets rough.
