Foldover Elastic
What is foldover elastic? and what do I do with it? I assumed every one knew about foldover elastic and its function. Boy was I ever wrong. We have had many questions about this product. Foldover elastic has an indention down the center on one side of the elastic. This side has a matt finish and the other side has a shiny finish. Use the full width for the waistline of your panties. Apply the elastic for the leg openings like you would a bias tape. Using the guide line of the indention on the elastic, stitch on the backside of the opening with a zig zag stitch. Then fold over the elastic to the front encasing the opening. Zig zag the edge on the front side and you have an exact color match with your waist and leg elastic. This can also be used to encase outside edges for necklines in lingerie, bras, tee shirts, and baby clothes.
