All Over Stretch Lace is a seamstress's dream come true. It is a very versatile fabric. An abundance of garments can be made from this fabric. There are many different weights and patterns.
Our All Over Stretch Lace is 100% Nylon. For lingerie it can be used to sew dainty short robes, camisoles, nighties, panties, and even a bra. Kwik•Sew has many patterns featuring All Over Stretch Lace. For example, see KS 2759. These fabrics are at least 48 inches wide so you won't need much fabric for short yardage sewing. Additionally you can add a lining fabric and use all over stretch lace for dresses or tops. Use as an accent fabric for necklines and sleeves. These fabrics are not reorderable.
Washing instructions: Our suggestion - hand wash, lay flat to dry. Do not hang to dry as it will stretch out of shape. Alternatively this fabric can be machine washed delicate cycle and tumble dry low.

My very favorite style is sewing a beautiful gathered long skirt and matching cami or dress. A smart jacket is also a knock out.You see this style in very upscale ready-to-wear boutiques. The pattern has a very open weave. Choose our nylon tricot fabric in your favorite color to line your skirt or cami or dress, and immediatly you have created your very own fashion design in color for a fraction of the retail price. The color will peek through the design. You can edge the outside edges in stretch lace or foldover elastic. If you design this ensemble in white, our white charmeuse or stretch satin would be beautiful. You can use it alone or cover the fabric with the lace. Awesome!
My second thought is cut away each strip of lace for use as a flat double scalloped lace. Each lace piece is 6 1/2" wide. With stretch lace so hard to find, you may want to get several yards. A one yard piece will have eight individual lace designs going across the fabric. Perfect for skirts, dresses, camis, tops of bras, edging pillowcases. Use this to sew fancy pillows for your home.
