PLUSH ELASTIC

Sew Sassy Fabrics has both finishing and strapping plush elastic from 3/8" to 1" wide in black, white and nude. Our selection includes Silicone Backed Plush Elastic in widths from 1/2" to 2". Black, White and Nude. Both finishing and strapping. We offer a complete line of bra making supplies - Bra Front Closures, Bra Back Closures, Bra Rings, Bra Slides, Bra Hooks, Spaghetti Strap Rings & Slides, Nursing Bra Clasps, Bra Straps, Bra Cups, Underwires, Channeling, Separator Wires, Fabric - which are described on other pages. In addition, we have garter grips and pre made garters. We offer all of the Kwik•Sew and Elan bra patterns. Our bra findings provide everything you need for making bras or brassieres.

Plush Elastic for sewing bras and panties

A basic foundation elastic with one side soft and velvety and elastic on the other side. It is also called felt back elastic. Plush Elastic has the soft backing side for wearing next to the skin. Elastic with a picot edge is called Finishing Plush Elastic. Elastic with both edges smooth is called Strapping Plush Elastic.
In 2011, two of the major US elastic manufacturers that we were buying from went out of business. Since then, we have been gradually able to find new suppliers and can now offer most of our plush elastics wholesale at Wholesale Plush Elastic.

STRAPPING PLUSH ELASTIC
Strapping Plush Elastic is a basic foundation elastic with one side soft and velvety and elastic on the other side. Elastic with both edges smooth is called Strapping Plush Elastic. The soft backing side is for wearing next to the skin. The elastic side has a satin finish on several of our strapping plush elastics.
